Kiya Survivors
Embassy of Man provides on going support to charity Kiya Survivors and helped to provide costs to build The Early Bird Centre in Peru. The centre was set up to help children with special needs who have been abused or neglcted and it provides vital support to the local community and to these children with excellent results. Please watch this short footage to learn more about their work.
The PREDA Foundation
Embassy of Man are proud to have supported PREDA Foundation; a Philippine human rights and social development organisation who help the poorest and most vulnerable people in society to overcome injustice and poverty. In 2007 we held an event called The Ambassadors Ball (see Newsletter 12 for further information) to help raise funds to build a training centre in Olongapo City for Boys, which has now been completed. PREDA hope to build a similar centre for girls. These videos show various interviews with the founder of the Preda Foundation, Father Shay Cullen. Please take a few minutes to watch these to learn more about the amazing work that Father Shay has done to help these children and young adults, over the last 34 years.
