Our star golfer
Since October 2004 Embassy of Man has had a management contract with one of Britain's top amateur golf players, John Parry (19) from Yorkshire through Monteacute House Ltd. John has often represented both Yorkshire and England golf teams for the past five years.
His most significant achievements to date are as follows:
- • Winner of the McEnvoy Trophy 2004
- • Member of the England Teams winning the European Boys Team
- • Championship and the Boys Home International 2004
- • Winner of the Yorkshire Amateur Championship (the youngest ever player, a record previously held by Howard Clarke) 2005
- • Winner of the Danish Amateur Championship 2005
- • Winner of the Faldo Series International Trophy U21 2006
- • Selected as member of Team Faldo 2006
- • Team won Costa Ballena title, Spain, 2006
Because of John's proven success, he has been selected for the England Golf Union's Elite Squad for 2006. His current handicap is +3.
John is a keen supporter of Embassy of Man and has been involved in presenting various donations from Embassy of Man to those in need. |
